On behalf of Ben Kamara:
I am a Penn (SP2) alumni. I graduated in May, 2018 with an MSW. I was born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The country is mostly known for its 11 years of brutal war, Ebola outbreak in 2014, mudslide incidence in 2018, among other issues. About a week ago, one of the villages in which I grew up as a child (called Kasengbeh) in Sierra Leone had fire disaster. All the houses in the village burned down. Thankfully, no life was gone.
The village is very hard to reach with no motor vehicle accessible road. Government does not even think or look out for the people in that village. I am kindly requesting your help in our fundraising and clothing drive.
