From being a teen mom and told I would never be anything in life… to watching my now grown daughter cut the ribbon with my granddaughter at the grand opening of her fashion boutique.

Life has a funny way of proving people wrong.

Whether you became a mother at an early age or later in life, one thing remains true…our children are not listening to us more than they are watching us.

Make sure it’s something worth watching.

They are watching how we rise.

How we heal.

How we persevere.

How we love ourselves through the hard seasons.

And one day, if we’re blessed, we get to witness the seeds we planted bloom right before our eyes.

I’m so proud to be her mother.

And even prouder to watch the woman she has become.
