Going way back to 1999, while working exclusively with Soul Arc producer Merlin, “When I Come Thru” is the 3rd song that Eternal recorded with Merlin. The song was part of his debut project a 4 song EP titled ‘God Bless’, which was just 2 songs added to a 2 song demo. The EP was originally released on cassette via Soul Arc Entertainment in late 1999. This song really showcased Eternal’s commanding yet melodic flow with lyrics that were hard, witty and energetic.
