rogram. Our goal is to use the tool of sports to build a relationship that can hopefully lead to students being able to open up to our volunteers so that services could be done. Participants in the program will improve their proficiency in English, Math, and Science. We will prepare the students for the SAT. Participants in the program will learn how to prepare a college admission essay as well as learn how to successfully complete a college application. Participants will have an opportunity to be mentored and tutored by adults who have experienced some of the same problems growing up as the students. Participants will attend college tours as well as meet college coaches. Participants will have the opportunity to be assisted in their recruiting for college. Participants will have the opportunity to attend sporting combines and showcases. Participants will learn life skills such as but not limited to correct dress for business meetings.
