Another remarkable harvest from the Kelly School Garden! And a fresh tomato sandwich with our friends from Friends of Fernhill Park food forest. A share of each harvest continues to go to local free fridges and food distributions courtesy of Harris and his Growing Great Tomatoes Together project. Great FUN Sunday mornings 9-11 for interested neighbors

We had a great time at Kelly schools Earth Day celebration. Kids helped us get plants and seeds in as well as begin composting with school lunch leftovers! Others were off cleaning up the newly renovated schoolyard. Thx to Weavers Way for the plant donations.

We started with 3 cubic yards of soil in a pile and ended with beds filled and ready to plant! Kelly School Family Garden crew did it again. Along with kale, cilantro and beets in the ground while the peach tree shows off!
