In a world that can feel so divided and heavy right now, it is not lost on me how blessed I am that I get to do what I love alongside the love of my life — and with so many people I love.

Some of the most incredible humans choose to come together to step onto our mats and breathe, laugh, cry, and love in community.

Move With Love is such a radiant, heart-filled space — where love is literally felt. I say this after spending all morning in community with so many of you and feeling it in real time.

NATIONWIDE Strike Friday 1/30 👊🏻💕

Hi, all you lovely people out there.

A short message from MWL regarding tomorrow’s General Strike in response to the actions of ICE in Minnesota.

First, let it be said that we stand in solidarity with our brothers, sisters, and fellow compatriots that choose to join the General Strike in any capacity tomorrow - whether that looks like walking off the job, closing down your business for the day, not spending any money on Friday, etc.

We now live in a country where masked government agents can and will grab people from their homes, from the courthouse, from their school or their church, and put them into detention without any due process.

We’ve seen videos of neighbors getting gunned down in the streets while trying to protect those being abused and attacked by these masked men, while our federal government openly lies about the circumstances surrounding these killings.

It’s hard not to feel hopeless
and helpless in these times.

That being said, we’ve made the decision to keep our studio open on Friday 1/30.

We believe it is imperative to have spaces for community and collective care right now.

And we believe that it’s important for people to have places to come together and recharge so that we can continue the fight to bend this society closer to the side of justice, equality, and liberation for all.

This wasn’t an easy decision to come to.
We understand that people may not agree with it, but we feel like this is the best way to show up for our local community and thereby the greater good.

We will be donating 50% of Friday’s class revenue to local organizations that are doing the good work.

We are holding a Community Care Circle
on Sunday 2/1 at 4pm.
It will be free and open to the public.

We aren’t - or at least haven’t been- community organizers, so please bear with us as we figure out how best to support our neighbors here, in Minnesota,
and everywhere across the globe.
