Cedar Ridge Farm and Cattle Company in Philadelphia, Mississippi was thrilled to load #22 "Doc" up this morning to head to The Tolbert Farm in Union, MS.

Once again this business has afforded us the wonderful opportunity to meet and learn more about our neighbors and fellow farmers near and far. Randy Tolbert contacted me last week looking for a young bull to put on a fresh group of heifers he has recently added to his herd. I had what I thought might be the bull he was looking for and he agreed.

Once we had "Doc" vet checked to assure my new friends and I he was ready to work and got him revaccinated it was time
to load him up.

Thank you Randy for trusting us for your breeder bull needs. Certainly enjoyed visiting with you and Kenny this morning and making family and friend connections. We appreciate your business and hope "Doc" serves your farm well for years to come.

Whew! Everything has been wide open at Cedar Ridge Farm Philadelphia Mississippi in the month of HOT!AUGUST. We have put around 500 bales of hay up for winter, rehomed 4 of our breeder bulls to three families, and continued to cut grass, feed stock and clean up from a July storm. We also took two 1000 lb Steers to be processed for some local farm friends this week.

Our last Registerd bull made his way to Kemper County today with Kenneth and Alice White. #85 Sir Micheal of Hope was vet-tested and given a good report card showing him ready to go to work. He was also re-vaccinated giving him a clean bill of health at his new farm home. Cedar Ridge appreciates Ken and Alice trusting our farm to provide them with "the right breeder" for their herd. We trust that Sir Michael will provide them the calves they are seeking by next summer. We want to Thank the White's for your business. We also appreciate all our customers ,some of whom are responsible for recommending us to their friends and neighbors.
We are running low on our ready to work bulls but have next years crop weaned and feeding out.

Currently we have two Commercial bulls 18 months old that are getting close to being ready. If you think you may need one this fall you better come see what we have in the next couple weeks or plan to keep looking. Cedar Ridge Farm and Cattle Company, Philadelphia Mississippi wants to express our appreciation to Terri Calvert Goss of Scooba, MS for allowing us to provide her with a great young black angus bull to service her heifers.

#7 was born and raised here on our farm, was vet tested and fully vaccinated by Dr. William Mars at Northside Animal Clinic assuring Terri and her farm a successful calving season ahead.

We hated to see #7 leave because he has always been our friendliest and the one always wanting a head scratch. He appears to be doing very well at his new home in Scooba with his "ladies".
