Today’s Corner Pop-Up with the Office of Safe Neighborhoods was a powerful example of what happens when community, service providers, and law enforcement stand together for safety and opportunity.
Huge shout out to all the partners who came out and showed love for our neighborhoods: Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PAAN), the Gun Violence Initiative, Nicetown Community Development Corporation, Councilwoman Cindy Bass’s Office, and the 39th Police District Advisory Council.
Big shout out the commanding officer of the 39th Police District, Captain Dana Bradley, and the dedicated officers of the 39th.
As the Commanding Officer of the Northwest Police Division, I was grateful to be out there with my people, engaging directly with stakeholders , listening to concerns, and connecting families to critical resources and opportunities.
This is what meaningful, consistent engagement looks like, working side by side to prevent violence, build trust, and invest in safer, stronger blocks across our city.

Today we stood together in solidarity for survivors.
At Love Park, members of our community came together for Teal Day in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month ( ). This powerful show of unity sends a clear message: we believe survivors, we support survivors, and we stand with them.
Moments like this remind us that awareness leads to action—and action leads to change.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke out, and continues to advocate for a safer, stronger community.

Stopped by the 39th District today where Captain Bradley and her officers partnered with Women Against Abuse to support a powerful cause. They set up a resource table at ShopRite (2800 Fox Street) to raise awareness about domestic violence and connect residents with critical services.
