11 years ago, we signed our first lease on Carpenter Lane. Erin had a 10 day-old and Ellen was getting ready to move to Arizona; I don’t know what we were thinking 🤣 We had faith in each other but that was about it!

PCA has been nurtured by wonderful punks who worked alongside us, a beautiful community of volunteers, supportive business owners in our Village, and (most importantly) Y O U. Thank you for keeping us going! Cheers to 11 💗

Dear Friends,

As the new school year begins, us PCA moms find ourselves reflecting on the challenges and joys of this past year. We're watching our kids rise to new challenges (high school! College applications! Ballet class!) as they re-engage with a world that Covid has kept them from. We're facing the realities of where the pandemic has brought us, both at home and at our treasured clinic.

We've felt the impact, alongside you, of all costs increasing (for us punks, that means: acupuncture needles, laundry, insurance, rent, cleaning supplies, paper goods, and so on...). Because we know your expenses have also likely increased pretty much everywhere, we have been determined that our Returning Patient Sliding Scale should remain as it has for years: $20-40.

Our not-for-profit clinic has always operated to break even. Some years, we've managed that more easily than others. Candidly, this has been a hard year. We are hoping to raise $5000 in a Fall Fundraising Drive between now and Thanksgiving, to help keep Philadelphia Community Acupuncture affordable and sustainable for everyone, and to fund some necessary facility and signage upgrades.

We are so proud to offer these invaluable services at an accessible rate and we're counting on our community to help keep the doors open so we can provide services to even more people. PCA is currently the most affordable option for acupuncture in the area and it's all because of your dedication and support! If you are able to contribute any amount towards this campaign, we would be so grateful! Donations are tax deductible.

We thank you, with all of our hearts, for your love and support.
