Can you attend tomorrow night's Science Town Hall if you don't have an advanced degree or work in the sciences? Absolutely! Everyone has a vested interest in maintaining American scientific expertise and resources, including but not limited to people who:
- Are patients and/or have loved ones whose care has greatly benefitted by foundational research that is federally funded
- Value experiencing beautiful, unique landscapes with healthy habitats and wildlife populations
- Enjoy gazing at the stars and learning about our universe
- Use technology on a daily basis
- Appreciate not having to worry about whether the air they breathe or water they drink is safe; similarly, those who don't have to worry about previously lethal or life-threatening diseases that now have effective vaccines
- Know that investments in science result in benefits to society and the economy
- Have a budding scientist in their life whose curiosity needs to be nurtured, not curtailed

What's your reason for standing up for science? Please come join us and add your voice to the conversation!
