In The Saddle

It’s been a minute since we’ve had regular In The Saddle gatherings, and we are more than excited to be back! We welcome you to join our *very casual* ride to the Navy Yard’s Central Green Park and the Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park. Meet outside the Oregon Ave stop of the Broad Street Line at 10am on April 15. If you are coming by SEPTA, you can bring your bike on the BSL (or a bus). No bike or don’t want to bring it? Cool! There’s an Indego bike share station there, as well as one in the Navy Yard and across Broad Street from FDR.

This is for all people of all abilities, so no matter what kind of biking you’ve done, how long it’s been since you’ve ridden, or what type of bike you have, you will feel at home. It’s only a couple miles of biking (plus whatever you did to get to Broad & Oregon and back home!) It’s really about hanging out and celebrating ourselves and the self care we are doing by taking time to get together. Feel free to bring your own coffee, tea, or snacks, and there will be plenty of other food and bev at the fantastic market in FDR.

Now if you are interested in longer rides, MTB rides, gravel rides, or other things that go beyond our simple format of fellowship, food, and fun, this will be a great place to connect with other folks in recovery who have similar biking goals.
