The album art for More Power is a photograph I took of Fairhill Apartments, a Phila Housing Authority apartment tower, from inside of Fotterall Square in North Philly. For this current phase of releases I’ve wanted to feature architectural photographs of apartment buildings in the city. Where we all live.
Inspirations include the apartment photo on The Street’s Original Pirate Material by Rut Blees Luxemburg and the excellent black and white film photography of my friend

Today is Bandcamp Friday and I'm asking you to help support a good cause. On Bandcamp Friday all proceeds from music sales go straight to the artist and I'm donating them to this great fundraiser. My friends and label-mates from Afronaut Media went to Columbia this past month and connected with the Casa del Sol Community Center in Palomino where they teach kids about and how to play traditional Columbian Cumbia music. The fundraiser will help the community center with infrastructure, musical instruments and tools.
