Sound the ‼️ Someone is turning 13 today!!! Happy birthday to my awesome granddaughter!!

I can’t speak for anyone else but age 59 for me was one of the most challenging years of my life. The Bible tells us that pride goes before a fall, and I always prided myself on the relationships I had with my daughters, my sisters and my nieces …until last year! Whew chile, I’m not sharing anything that most of you don’t already know but last year, was hard! There was nothing I could do, nothing I could say, nothing I could give to change the course of events that happened between all of us. Every relationship was put to the test, and most times, I had to let it all crash. I felt helpless often, frustrated most times, and despondent because I could see the enemy, yet it seemed that no one else could…so what did I do? You know the answers. Prayed, fasted, keep my peace, spoke my heart and mind, even layed hands…🤣🤣🤣(read between those lines).

As a mom, you are given a unique gift to see beyond what’s seen, and many times you just have to release it, and release them, so that God can be to them what he is to you. It’s one of the hardest lessons to let those whom you’ve carried your entire adult life go so that they see things, not through your eyes, but through HIS eyes. But honey…when you do let go and you sit back to watch God…some amazing and beautiful things are developed, and your bond is so much tighter that what the enemy meant for evil, he turns it around for Good. I thank Him for the tough lessons that makes us who HE intends for us to be.

Here we are now, dinner On HER at our favorite restaurant, Swarovski earring for my birthday, but most importantly, a bond that only God could heal.
