We can actually master the mask well enough to become successfully self deceived. Yup, while masking in order to hide who we are from others we can wind up doing a really good job deceiving ourselves. So yes it is quite possible that we are sincere and self deceived(in certain areas of our heart)at the same time. So sanctification really is among other things a process. A process where the Spirit of God is behind our masks and the trauma, lies, abuse, pain and sins that created them to heal us so we keep stop pretending. For this, i am grateful... .
