Today is International Dog Day! In celebration, we are highlighting a unique benefit offered by Verilogue to its employees: our Pet Adoption Reimbursement benefit, under which the company will reimburse regular full-time or part-time employees up to $100 (net) annually for costs associated with the adoption of a pet. In addition, eligible employees may take up to 5 days to work from home in the month following a pet adoption. Pictured here is Senior Analyst, Field Services Deanna McLaughlin with her husband and their golden retriever Murphy, who they adopted in April. Verilogue looks forward to participating in the Publicis Health Community Service Day in Philadelphia tomorrow! This year, our community partner is Julia Ward Howe Academic Plus School, a small K-5 school of about 200 students, with two classes per grade and two Autism Support classes. Located in the Olney neighborhood in North Philadelphia, Howe has a strong community of students and families living in the surrounding area. We will help with a variety of projects including bringing new life into their library, positive behavior room, school counselor room, halls, and playground area. We will do this by painting the walls, assembling furniture, hanging pictures, adding 2-4 new murals, and organizing items to get ready for the upcoming school year.
