Welcome to Fort Mifflin, a National Historic Landmark known as "The Fort that saved America!" Located on the Delaware River, adjacent to the Philadelphia International Airport, we welcome visitors Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM till 4 PM from March through mid- December. January and February we are open by chance or appointment - please call the office before your visit 215-685-4167.

Thank you to everyone that voted for Fort Mifflin's history tour as one of Philly's Favorites. Executive Director Craig Buffington of Fort Mifflin holds the bronze (3rd place) certificate for best tour in the 2026 Philadelphia Inquirer Philly Favorites contest.
