At the Liberty Medal ceremony honoring the Pope today, Rabbi Maderer was proud to represent RS with a message of multifaith solidarity, in the location in between Washington's home where he enslaved human beings to the west, and the museum housing Washington's letter to the Jews giving "to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, to the east."
