NGAP has no affiliation with any greyhound track or any other organization and prides itself on being a strong national advocate for greyhounds. National Greyhound Adoption Program is looking for reliable, honest, hardworking animal handlers for the following shifts:
6:00am-12:00pm
4:00pm-10:00pm
Individuals need to be confident with cats and dogs and have a good work ethic. Basic duties consist of cleaning kennels, hosing yards, and feeding, watering and handling dogs in and out of the kennel for exercise.
If you love dogs, this is the job for you!
For those planning on entering the veterinary field, either as a technician or on e pre-vet track, kennel work provides you with valuable knowledge and experience transferable to a career in animal health and welfare.
