Hey beauties, do you feel that? Change, shifts, and big transitions happening?! How are y'all holding up during these times?
2022 has been a year for us. We had our first BASE BUTTER baby, we’ve been experiencing year-over-year growth since we launched, and have big plans to scale in every way. But these same things that are energizing and motivating us also have our small, but mighty team maxed out. We’re bouncing back from a hiccup that delayed some amazing new product launches from happening this year, our CEO and co-founder is adjusting to life as a new mom, and for the first time in a long time, we’re seeing sales growth slow up. Yes, these are “normal” things that happen in business that inspire innovation and change, but it’s been no small feat these past eight months working through them.
So, we have decided to give our team the time and space to take a break, breathe, reflect, and simply be as we get ready for the next chapter of BASE BUTTER. This means you'll be seeing a little less of us on social media, in your inbox, and in person, but you’ll still be able to shop BASE BUTTER, contact support, and will receive your orders on time!

Everything we do at BASE BUTTER is rooted in making you feel protected, comfortable and confident in your skin.
We started out with a passion to develop products for womxn, specifically Black womxn, that redefined the perception of beauty and its impact on our relationship with our skin.
In everything we do and will do, womxn are the core focus.
may only be celebrated once a year in March, but BASE BUTTER ensures our community of womxn are celebrated 365.
