We've been getting a bunch of questions about Lo-Key Lager, our new non-alcoholic beer! Keep reading for some answers to these FAQs:
🍌This drink has less alcohol by volume than some foods! It's not alcohol-free (it has trace amounts less than 0.5%), but ripe fruits and sourdough bread can have that much or more.
🪪 You have to be age 21 or older to purchase non-alcoholic beer. This is a rule handed down from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (take it up with them).
🧷Cans of Lo-Key Lager are pasteurized, so nothing harmful can grow and it won't accidentally re-ferment and turn into an alcoholic beer.
🍺 We keep draft Lo-Key Lager in a kegerator, completely separate from our other draft lines. This ensures that no one will accidentally serve you an alcoholic beer, and it allows us to clean the draft line daily to keep it bacteria free.
🚨 Having a non-alcoholic beer doesn't change the fact that we are a bar. Folks under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to hang out here.

This weekend Sat 2/15-Mon 2/17 we are keeping the party going - because we’re turning eight & feeling great! To celebrate, we’ve got a weekend of even more (slightly chiller) fun for ya: annual bottle release, special kegs, NOLA-inspired food specials, vinyl spinning in the brewery, and maybe even a few other things... we’ll see what we’ve got up our sleeve.
In 2D birthday tradition, we’ll kick things off Sat 2/15 with our annual anniversary bottle release! Plus we’ll be tapping some vintage kegs from the brew farm cave.
Sun 2/16 The main event. It’s an all-day & into-the-night party with a special DJ set from the one and only 4pm-7pm. Special beers flowing & good vibes all around.
Monday 2/18 We’ll wind down easy. We open at Noon as usual, and it’ll be quite the Monday Holiday Happy Hour 4-6pm, with specially discounted anniversary drafts.
We’ll have Crescent City-inspired food specials from Chef Tim Kirkland all weekend long too - it is Carnival season after all!
We can’t wait to end the week right, and celebrate some more with our family & friends in South Philly and beyond. See ya this weekend!
