Penn Lens
The University of Pennsylvania Photographic Society (Penn Lens) aims to create an open space for both appreciators of photography and photographers of all levels to engage in, learn about, and discuss the art form.
Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in our webinar with Tara Ansley! We have decided to POSTPONE the webinar to a later date, due to the current state of the nation. We encourage you all to use this time to reflect on your position in society and how you can use that to be a voice or a support for those communities who may need it. We will announce the new date very soon, so stay tuned! Thank you for your understanding.
We write this message with a great heaviness in our hearts, as our nation is going through a very rough but hopefully transformative period. The events that have taken place the past few months have been but a small addition to what Black people have endured for years. It is, and has been, time for change. We stand for Black lives, and we are working with our team and umbrella organization, Penn Student Agencies, to ensure we take action in any way we can. We hope you all are safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you on our rescheduled webinar very soon!
