💙 Yesterday, Friends Hospital proudly hosted a Faith in Behavioral Health discussion— bringing together leaders, clinicians, and faith communities to explore how spirituality and mental health intersect.

Through shared dialogue and reflection, we continue to honor the role of faith in fostering hope, resilience, and healing for individuals and families.

Yesterday, Friends Hospital CEO Angela Cantwell spent time with our lawmakers in Harrisburg, advocating for support to meet the behavioral health needs of people across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A special thanks to our local lawmakers, including Senator Christina Tartaglione and Representative Jason Dawkins, who took the time to meet with our team.

This weekend, Friends Hospital had the honor of hosting the Latinas in Motion 5K, a celebration of movement, wellness, and community. Nearly 400 participants joined us — and with 70% completing their first 5K, the day carried a special kind of magic.

The energy on campus was incredible. Families walked together, first‑time runners crossed the finish line with pride, and volunteers lifted every participant with encouragement. It was a reminder that when people feel welcomed and supported, they’re inspired to take meaningful steps toward healthier lifestyles.

We’re grateful to be part of an event that empowers individuals, strengthens community bonds, and celebrates wellness in such a joyful way.
