This is why this event was created. Many of us didn't have or live ideal lives, but we by the grace of God have had some successes despite the obstacles that we've had to overcome. Everyone's story as unique and layden with trials and tribulations as they can be was custom made for that individual. Think about this... what if you went through what you went through so that you can share it and spare someone else the heartache of enduring the same pain that you did. In the streets there is a saying "each one teach one". Here is where we "pass the torch". Each one of the speakers for this event will represent a generation of women. They will seek to bring healing for apologizing for the lack of their generation. They will tell of their own story of struggle and triumph as a way of showing you that we are all the same; and if my story can push you or propel you out of your depression or lack of forward movement then I will become transparent so that my sister can be free. Lastly they will make a seed(word) deposit into the garden of your life as a way to start the growth process and push you on your way to being a God kind of woman, mother, friend, sister, wife or whatever He has called you to be.
