Puerto Rico oh, Puerto Rico oh,

Yes, I am Puerto Rican and Polish. Sounds like r**e, LOL! I am so PROUD of my heritage. My father is an immigrant with a 6th grade education from Puerto Rico, and my mother is Polish! Besides my good looks, I am who I am because of what they passed down to me. They gave to me what I feel are the MOST IMPORTANT things in life. The Immigrant Mentality:……which is FAMILY(my sons are my world), that HARD WORK ETHIC; looking every possible way for opportunities and being a “go getter.” PASSION and finding purpose, to leaving that lasting legacy. RESPECT; to the elders and to everybody else around. PRIDE; being the BEST you can be, fighting for what is right and for what you believe in. RELIGION; I am Catholic, and I pray to GOD, Jesus Christ(the son), and the Holy Spirit three times a day when things are good and bad. I pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary(Our Lady of Victory). I use to pray to her before and after EVERY fight kneeling in the corner. And HEART, everyone knows the heart of a Puerto Rican boxer as a warrior. Climbing through those ring ropes, and ready to do battle Mano a Mano, what a feeling, it’s a special feeling! Keep resting easy Miguel and Josephine, Mom and Dad. You are missed….until I see you again!!! 🙏🏽 🧠 ⚡️ 🥊

For my kids that I worked with all summer long. School is starting and so are all of the sports programs as well! You young players want to get better? You need to do these things at every practice or workout!!!

REMEMBER:

1. Be early
2. Get your reps in
3. Go hard
4. ALWAYS look your coach in the eye
