music alike! Names like, Garth Brooks, Britney Spears, Sam Hunt, Bruno Mars, Reba McEntire, Ariana Grande, Kenny Chesney and countless other A-List stars. During his 20+ year career, Coop has worked in markets like Detroit, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and currently works in both the Pop and Country formats. While Coop’s passion for radio started at the age of 7, “broadcasting” his morning show from a karaoke machine in his bedroom, his first paid gig started while doing overnights (12m - 5am) at 106.9 The Fox in his hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia. From there, Coop worked his way up the ranks of the broadcast industry, one rung at a time. “Every single market I worked in, taught me something invaluable that I carry with me to this day.” Coop says while reminiscing on his radio journey. “Whether it was the radio studio in an actual mobile home in North Carolina, or the state of the art studios I’m in now in Philadelphia, I am so grateful so every step and every challenge I’ve had along the way.”
