I have known you my entire life. There are moments that were great and others that were challenging, but I know I chose you to help guide and teach me the lessons of life. Ifa is truth and you Dad have a funny way of teaching the lesson of truth to me. Ifa told me the only entities that can tell me what to do is Ifa, Egungun, Ọ́ṣun, My Mother and My Father. Not saying other opinions don’t matter, but these entities will always tell me the truth in their way. So as I honor your day of birth to this world dad, I love ❤️ you unconditionally. We may not agree but you said something so profound to me today, to love unconditionally means to love yourself, love humanity, love your family, love your fears, love your enemies, love the liars, love the those who love chaos and confusion. You said “because your love and good character will be an everlasting impression on not only the person but those around them.” And then reminded of what Michelle Obama said, “when they go low, you go high.” Lol 😂 Dad, I didn’t even have to share my day and you knew!! I just called to say Happy Birthday and you knew exactly what to say to make things right and encourage me to not change loving unconditionally. So I thank you and Happy EARTHDAY Dad!! Love ❤️ you.
