“You make something from nothing.”
These words have echoed in my mind again and again over the past few months.
I feel something powerful being born within me; an energy that can only emerge through stillness and trust. Through surrendering to the flow that carries us all.

It is sacred. It is magical.
Because I’m realizing the truth. That everything I seek: the clarity, joy, safety, & hope…all live within me.
None of it is dependent on the outside world.
It comes from a place within the soul. A place that we all have access to.

And I am expressing that place through my art.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Anguilla, and the crystal turquoise sea claimed my favorite pair of Sparklekat earrings.
I was standing thigh deep on the shore when I saw a giant wave quickly approaching. I turned my back just as the force of it plowed me down, and sent my body twisting through the water. I came up for air laughing, and felt my ears. The right earring was gone. Before I could stand up, another giant wave came and knocked me down again. This time I surfaced without my bathing suit, and the other earring gone as well. Carried out with the current and the shells below my feet.
I consider it an offering to my favorite element.
It feels nice to love and yet not be attached all at once.
There’s always another chance to create ✨🐱
