🔍 Windows 11 Tip of the Day – Use the Search Bar to Find Anything Quickly 🧠⌨️
Can't find an app, file, or setting? Don’t worry — the Search bar can help you get there fast without clicking through menus.
🔹 Step 1: Click the magnifying glass icon (🔍) next to the Start button on your Taskbar.
🔹 Step 2: Start typing what you're looking for — like “printer,” “Word,” or “photos.”
🔹 Step 3: Results will appear instantly — click the one you want to open it.
💡 Bonus Tip: You can also press Windows + S on your keyboard to open Search instantly.
🖥️ Windows 11 Tip of the Day – Open File Explorer with “This PC” by Default 📁💡
Missing the old view where you could instantly see your drives and folders instead of “Quick Access”? You can still bring it back:
🔹 Step 1: Open File Explorer.
🔹 Step 2: Click the three dots (•••) on the top toolbar → Select Options.
🔹 Step 3: Under the General tab, look for “Open File Explorer to:”
Change it from Quick access to This PC.
🔹 Step 4: Click OK to save.
Now every time you open File Explorer, you’ll go straight to your drives, just like in Windows 10!
💡 Bonus Tip: You can also pin This PC to the Taskbar or Start Menu for even faster access.
🧰 Windows 11 Tip of the Day – Right-Click Menu Got Shorter? Here’s How to See Everything 🖱️📄
In Windows 11, the right-click menu is cleaner — but where are all the options?
🔹 Step 1: Right-click a file or folder — you’ll see a simplified menu.
🔹 Step 2: Click “Show more options” at the bottom (or press Shift + F10) to bring back the full classic menu from Windows 10.
🔹 Step 3: Now you can access all familiar tools like “Send to,” “Rename,” or third-party app features.
💡 Bonus Tip: Once you press Shift + F10, you can use the arrow keys and Enter to navigate quickly — great for keyboard users!
🛠️ Troubleshooting Tip of the Day – Fix Flickering or Blurry Screen in Windows 11
If your screen flickers, blurs, or randomly goes black:
Step 1: Press Windows + I to open Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates
Step 2: If updates are available, install them and restart your PC — many display issues are caused by outdated drivers.
Step 3: If that doesn’t help, update your display driver manually:
- Right-click Start, choose Device Manager
- Expand Display adapters
- Right-click your graphics card and choose Update driver
Step 4: Still not working? Go to your graphics card manufacturer’s site (like NVIDIA, Intel, or AMD) and install the latest drivers manually.
💡 Bonus Tip: Using multiple monitors? Make sure all cables (like HDMI or DisplayPort) are fully plugged in and not loose.
