Wine making at Stone & Key Cellars involves the following wine making steps:
π Crushing - utilizing the Crusher/Destemmer to crush the grapes and remove the stem. This is happening now!
π Pressing - approximately 2 weeks after crushing. A grape press squeeze the wine from the skins and seeds. Also happening now!
π Barrel tasting - generally in late January and February.
π Blending session - you determine the final blend by blind tasting 3 wines that the winemaker prepares.
π Bottling - filling, corking, and labeling.
