There’s one thing I tell every couple before we start a session: you can’t do anything wrong.
If you feel like moving a certain way, do it! Lean in, pull each other close, take off running down the father - even if we’re technically in the middle of something else. A pose is just a place to start. You’re allowed to move inside it, and honestly, the version where you stopped thinking and just reacted to each other is usually my (and your) favorite frame from the whole session.
So much of feeling good in front of a camera comes down to knowing you don’t have to get it right. There’s nothing to get right - you just get to be there, together, and I’ll catch it.

Hi, I’m Jordan - I’m a Cape May wedding photographer working across the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, and beyond.
A little about how I work, since you’re here:
I’ve always been the friend with a camera - at every gathering worth remembering, I was the one documenting it from the edge of the room. Before this, I studied occupational therapy and worked in a nursing home, and that taught me something I’ve never let go of: time with the people we love is finite, and it matters more than we realize until it’s gone.
So when I started photographing weddings, I understood pretty quickly what I’d actually been hired to do. Not to run your day or pose you into someone else’s vision - to disappear into it, stay present, and hand you back proof that every moment happened exactly the way you felt it did.
And once the day is done, you won’t be left wondering. I send you sneak previews within two days and your full gallery in six weeks so you can have these cherished memories back while you’re still riding the high of this new chapter.
If you’ve been following along for a while, this is the place to start. And if “I’m not a picture person” sounds like you - we’ll get along. Reach out when you’re ready; I’d love to hear about your day. 🤍

Couples ask me this almost every wedding weekend in Cape May, so - saving everyone the group-chat scramble! Where I actually send couples for dinner and drinks in Cape May:
DINNER 🍴
-The Washington Inn for the rehearsal. It’s the one your parents will be glad you picked. Beautiful old building, real service, food that doesn’t try too hard.
-Peter Shields when you want the meal to feel like an occasion. Sit on the porch if you can.
-The Ebbitt Room - think candlelit, quieter, and the kind of dinner that runs long in the best way.
-Grana for fine dining without the formality. Chef Carl ran Peter Shields for ten years before opening his own place, and it shows. BYOB — bring something good.
-Mayer’s Tavern over at Schellenger’s Landing. Local seafood, local and fresh ingredients, real bar, and an easy night.
-The Fish House at Sunset Beach is coastal shack energy, no reservations, and worth the drive out.
DRINKS 🍸
-Carney’s has been family run since ’79. Think dinner early and dancing late. Pretty much does both.
-The Brown Room at Congress Hall is low light, leather chairs, and the best after-dinner drink spot.
-The Rusty Nail — Travel + Leisure called it one of the top ten bars in the country, which feels right. There’s a fire pit, frozen drinks, and no fuss.
-Taco Caballito for margaritas and over 70 tequilas, and an upstairs porch overlooking Beach Ave.
-The C-View Inn for whenever you need a break from the wedding-weekend formality. It’s a dive, the oldest tavern in town, and where everyone actually wants to be at 10pm.
