One of Rome's most thought-provoking experiences was our visit to Il Convento dei Cappuccini.
The first image is Lady of Hope, a beautiful painting by an unknown artist that caught my eye with its vibrant colors and striking contrast. The museum is also home to a remarkable painting attributed to Caravaggio, Saint Francis in Meditation, a masterpiece that perfectly complements the contemplative message of the crypt.
The tombs of the Capuchin monks are uniquely decorated with the bones of their fellow friars, serving as a reminder of the fleeting nature of earthly life and the hope of what lies beyond.
A truly unforgettable stop in the Eternal City.
One of the absolute highlights of our Tuscany journey was a truffle hunt unlike any other!
Meet Brina, our four-legged truffle hunter. At just 11 months old, this magnificent pup led us through the woods and, in only 30 minutes, sniffed out an incredible 242 grams of truffles—yes, we weighed her treasure to celebrate her success!
After our hunt, we enjoyed a truffle-inspired wine tasting lunch at Buccia Nera, where every course showcased the flavors of the region. Between the exceptional wines, delicious food, and wonderful company, it was an experience we won't soon forget.
Good wine, good friends, and a very talented dog—what more could you ask for? 🍷🐾🍄

There’s not a day that goes by without a wine tasting in Tuscany. If you ever find yourself in Radda, we highly recommend Castello d’Albola — a top‑notch experience from their wonderful wines to the warm service. We paired reds with beef tartare, “wabbit” 😆 and gnocchi stew, braised duck, and finished with an espresso mousse. The castle dates back to the 1500s and the wines are exquisite. Cin cin! 🍷🤩
