“tour of my heart” 🖼️

never been in a place
so full, yet so empty
to the left,
i see cracked ceilings
and floors that ache
with almost every step i take
the tourists are nice,
but i can tell they’re cold too
the draft in here
is something crazy
it takes everything in me to not get blown away
i find it hard to focus
on the pictures seamed to the walls
for they aren’t focused themselves
the curator doesn’t even
have the frames level or centered
i’m sorry, but that’s really annoying…
let’s move to the right
yea, the right is decorated
something like a cathedral
the stained glass is absolutely beautiful
the way light drips and oozes
into the pink room
brings me to my knees in tears
for i have never felt more love
in the presence of complete absence
