Building those client relationships is key to a great, successful project 🙌🏼

We’ve found that truly connecting with the client makes for an enjoyable project from start to finish. That’s why in the Inquiry phase - before we ever decide to work together - we have in-depth discussions and questions to ensure we have similar goals and ideas about the project. It is then our duty as the designer to make sure we not only anticipate the client’s desires, but we also anticipate the brand’s needs. Aligning the two is such a crucial step in our client process and why client relationships is one of our favorite aspects of this industry.

After coming across Charles Eames’ quote, I couldn’t help but laugh about the parallels in work and in personal life. I do LOVE to host friends and family and offer them a million things to make sure they’re comfortable 😂

On another note, sorry we’ve been so quiet here lately. We have been working on some pretty big things behind the scenes. Sometimes it feels wrong to put down the big work for social media, but we recognize it can be equally as important. That’s something on our list of monthly goals to work on 👊🏼

Putting the finishing touches on the branding for m.e.a. creations - a small, sustainable business that repurposes beer bottles into candle vessels.

100% soy wax is hand poured into a variety of upcycled beer bottles from both local and bigger brands.

A lot of strategy went into building this brand. We needed to appeal to the target audience AND the person they might be buying for. Because of this, we couldn’t make the logos and submarks too feminine or masculine. They had to hit right in the middle - with neutral colors that complement many of the frequently used beer bottles and labels.

Can’t wait to share some photos of the candles and branding together ✨ The alternate logo and submarks will appear on the candle’s dust cover, which we’re anxiously awaiting in the mail 🤞🏼
