There comes a moment in a woman’s life when she no longer negotiates her existence. When she stops dimming her essence to be digestible and realizes being too much was just code for more than they could carry. This poem is for the woman who had to break the version of herself they built out of fear, silence, and survival. The one who used to apologize for her presence, who made herself small to be palatable… 
She didn’t transform for applause. She didn’t heal to be liked. She escaped the boxes, the projections, the pain that once convinced her she wasn’t enough.  She walks in her fullness. 
This isn’t just a glow-up. This is resurrection. This is reclamation. This is what it looks like when a woman remembers who she was before the world told her to forget.
