Our mission is to raise awareness, promote early detection, and provide unwavering support to those affected, with a special focus on empowering black women and women of color.

Meet our speaker: Rasheena Phinisee, a Temple University graduate and breast cancer “thriver”, is the creator of the Our Black Bodies podcast and Assiah’s Liver Fund, a nonprofit organization raising awareness about organ donation and transplantation in communities of color. Rasheena’s work has been featured on major networks and platforms.

Meet our speaker: Dr. Renée L. Quarterman, an award-winning breast surgeon and founder of Delaware Breast Care, brings over 16 years of expertise to the panel. Her extensive experience includes leadership roles as Medical Director at various breast centers, overseeing all aspects of breast health from imaging to cancer diagnosis and care coordination.
