Yes, we’re gonna be feminine. You should be that anyway, right? But does femininity take away your power and now you just have candles and bubble baths Absolutely not.

I think a lot of women confuse soft life with aesthetics instead of stability.

A real soft life actually looks a little different to me.

It’s your routines.
Your healing.
Your emotional intelligence.
Your standards.
Your relationship with God.
Your financial stewardship.
Your discipline.
Your consistency.
Your health.

It’s asking yourself:
What does my day-to-day life actually look like?
Am I emotionally regulated or do I get derailed easily?
Do I move with intention?
Am I feeding my mind?
Am I growing?
Or am I just chasing aesthetics online for what I think softness looks like?

Because softness naturally increases when your life is no longer operating in survival chaos mode.

It flows naturally when you become intentional.

And honestly… I don’t know how realistic this internet version of “soft life” is. 😂

Do we all have the capacity to sit around sipping coffee and tea all day with a blanket across our lap? Absolutely not.

We’re working.
We’re building.
We’re growing.
We’re living life all at the same time.

But softness starts showing up in your aura naturally when your life no longer feels chaotic internally.

And if not for nothing else… that’s definitely The Black Girl Standard we should be living by.
