Beyond the Bars is a music and career planning program that is dedicated to interrupting the cycles of violence and incarceration. It seeks to provide music programs and safe spaces to youth who have otherwise not had access to them.

Had a blast at with our amazing students teachers supporting their summer camp! The campers at Rivera are so talented and it was incredible seeing the student teachers doing an amazing job supporting them growing as artists! We’re super grateful for their leadership and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for the camp!

First day of summer camp for the new student teachers went great! Everyone did an incredible job and we are super pumped for a great summer seeing them grow as artists and leaders!

Our associate teacher camp at is off to a great start! Seeing these students over the years grow as incredible leaders has been amazing and we can’t wait to see what they’re gonna do over the summer! Excited to welcome the new cohort of student teachers tomorrow!
