(RIT) Manoa Fire Company Engine 56 responding to a Working Fire in Upper Darby

Around 21:44 Companies 56, 58, 35, 34, RIT 53 as well as Mic 108 were dispatched to 1305 West Chester Pike (ACME SUPERMARKET) for a reported Commercial Building Fire. Chief 56 arrived on location and had a one story commercial building nothing evident. Engine 56 and Ladder 35 arrived and went in to investigate. Crews found a burnt up motor in the celling and secured the power to ensure the fire was out and did not spread. Chief 56 then held the assignment to Haverford Township units. Units went available shortly after.
