It is hard to get to the love you want unless you can see your defensive patterns and the patterns built into your relationships. Defensiveness sounds like a simple topic, but it is as complex as the love it undermines.
Defensiveness wrecks love: Respond to it inside and out - Development Defensiveness is a love killer. But let's not confuse that mechanism with our need to be consciously defended against what is bad for us. Love good trouble.

I've witnessed so much anger this week. We might want to ponder that.
Take hold of your anger so you can let it go - Development Some of us are angry because God won't deal with our anger. We've got to grasp it before we can let it go. Jesus will be with us all the way.
