Yesterday, Hanwha Philly Shipyard proudly celebrated the delivery of Acadia to Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation!

As the first subsea rock installation vessel (SRIV) of its kind to enter the U.S. market, Acadia represents a major milestone in American shipbuilding innovation. Designed to support critical offshore infrastructure projects, this highly specialized vessel strengthens the U.S.-flag fleet and showcases the advanced capabilities of our workforce.

This achievement reflects the expertise and collaboration of our team and partners, and we’re proud to deliver a first-of-its-kind vessel that reinforces the strength and future of U.S. shipbuilding.
