Liberia Signs Deal to PAY $ 100,000 USD Every Month As Lobbying Fees With Ballard Partners .

The Liberian Government has entered into a one-year agreement with Washington, D.C. lobbying firm Ballard Partners, Inc. to provide strategic consulting and advocacy services before the United States government.

According to a document in the possession of Dnnews, the contract was signed May 18, 2026 by Samuel A. Stevquoah, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, on behalf of the Republic of Liberia, and by Brian D. Ballard, President of Ballard Partners.

Under the agreement, Liberia will pay Ballard Partners $100,000 per month, billed in quarterly installments of $300,000. The contract also covers reasonable out-of-pocket costs including registration fees, travel, hotel, airfare, car services, and meals. Strategic Communications services through Ballard Media Group are excluded.

The stated purpose is for the firm to consult with Liberia and advocate on issues the government deems necessary and appropriate before the U.S. government. Liberia is required to provide the firm with information necessary for representation and to compensate the firm in a timely manner.

The agreement has an initial term of one year and automatically renews for successive one-year periods unless either party provides 30 days written notice of termination. The first quarterly payment was due upon ex*****on of the agreement.

Ballard Partners is located at 601 13th Street NW, Suite 250S, Washington, D.C. Firms representing foreign governments are required under the Foreign Agents Registration Act to disclose contracts, fees, and lobbying activities to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Africa CDC Warns 10 African Countries at Risk as Ebola Outbreak Spreads!!!!

The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has warned that at least 10 African countries are at risk of Ebola transmission as the outbreak continues to spread across Central and East Africa.

According to Africa CDC Director-General Dr. Jean Kaseya, increased cross-border movement, insecurity, and weak healthcare systems are fueling the growing threat beyond the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda.

The countries identified as being at risk include Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Zambia.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has also expressed concern over the outbreak, which has reportedly caused hundreds of suspected infections and more than 170 suspected deaths in eastern DRC.

In response, Africa CDC declared the outbreak a “Public Health Emergency of Continental Security,” calling for stronger surveillance, regional cooperation, and urgent emergency response measures to contain the deadly virus.
