Two weeks in Greece. Zero regrets. Three big ah-ha moments.
How did you disconnect and reboot this summer?
Drop it in the comments! Let’s hear about the fun sh*t that actually makes all this work worth it.

Your booking process shouldn’t give “scroll, confusion, rage quit.”
It should give “booked, busy, and she eats.”
Send it to your friend (or boss) who “doesn’t believe in websites” but also doesn’t have any new clients.
Comment “JOURNEY” and I’ll rate your salon’s digital path like Regina George rates outfits: fast, savage, and painfully honest. But, like, make it fun.

Listen the f*ck up. 🫵🏼 AI is not a replacement for your heart or your brain. But if you know how to use it, it will help scale your business.
If you’re throwing in half-baked prompts with zero personal context and expecting genius-level content? That’s not gonna happen. And your audience will sniff it out immediately.
Smart business owners use AI as a tool. That means training it with your tone of voice, your mission, your values, and the real-life situations you’ve navigated. The emotions behind them. The actual behind-the-scenes of your business.
If you don’t, you’ll be regurgitating recycled bu****it that sounds like it came from a 2007 infomercial. Even worse, you could confuse your clients, alienate your team, or share info that’s flat-out wrong.
Yes, AI can make mistakes. It misses things all the time, especially when you’re only giving it part of the picture. And if you don’t double-check what it spits out, that’s on you.
Want to make AI your most productive hire? Train it like it’s your therapist, your business partner, and your best friend.
(You can eye-roll if you want, but ChatGPT has made me thousands of dollars. So who’s the joke on? Period.)
DM me “PROMPT” and I’ll send you the 15 go-to prompts I use every month to keep my content, coaching, and strategy on point.
XOXO,
Bobby

Hold up before you go off. This isn’t an attack, and I’m not pretending to know everything. Got it! Cool.
It’s my reminder for you. Just audit the advice. 🫵🏼
I’m all for learning from peers in the industry. So many of them have incredible insights, even if they’ve gotten out of the biz or never owned a salon.
But when it comes to building systems, scaling teams, raising prices, and navigating the ever-changing chaos of salon ownership in 2025?
I look for people who are currently in it, offering optimistic paths to success, and not just remembering what it was like years ago or posting what AI told them to say.
This carousel isn’t about my ego, we can save that for another post. 😏
It’s about being intentional with your time, your money, and your mentors.
If it lands, I’d love to hear which slide hit hardest. If it doesn’t? You know the drill, keep it pushing. 💅🏼

Do you ever think about how wild it is that one person can lift the whole room, and how one energy-suck can drain it just as fast?
It always amazes me that I’d be eye-rolling and avoiding the negative Nancy at a dinner party. But I didn’t always take care of it when I should have, within my business.
It’s hard enough to get into a positive mindset, so I’ve learned to protect my space, whether in the salon or wandering through life. It’s never fun or motivating to be around a person who ruins the vibe.
Are you protecting yours?
XOXO,
Bobby
