This session will provide a brief history and overview of I-35 in Austin and the Capital Express corridor, discuss general and project-specific pavement challenges, and highlight innovative solutions to address these issues.

👤 About the Speaker
Dr. Kiran Mohanraj is a pavement engineer and project manager with over 17 years of experience in pavement materials, testing, design, and construction. With a PhD from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Arizona State University, his expertise spans sustainable and resilient pavements, asphalt binder performance, and the environmental impacts of pavement design.
