Ahhhhh!!!!! So proud!!!!

Our congratulations to Hendrickson Theatre student Danzi Bradley on her Best Featured Performer award win last night during the Sixth Annual Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards at the Long Center in Austin! Thirty area schools and more than 2,000 students participated in the event. Danzi portrayed Little Inez in the Hendrickson production of “Hairspray.”

Les Miz cast: you have been asked to perform at the Teacher Convocation on Aug 13th. We will perform 1 ensemble number from the production. Many of you have responded that you can be there. If you haven't responded and would like to be in the number please let Malone know ASAP as I need a head count. The district will feed you lunch that day since we rehearse in the morning and perform at 2. We will have a few other rehearsals prior as well. I will let you know that schedule as soon as I have a count. The more the better! This includes all you graduates that were in the show, if you are still in town!

The department is going to see Courtney West in Zilkers Production of HAIRSPRAY on Sunday August 9th in the evening. Who wants to go?!?!
