California Native Foods

Costal California grows abundant grass, acorns, bay berries, elderberries, black berries, sea veggies, fish, mollusks, and shellfish to name a few. We want to raise our animals in a way that fits in with the existing ecosystem and takes advantage of the unique soil and climate conditions where we live. For now we are attempting to bring our chickens into alignment with this philosophy. In the future we hope to provide a wide diversity of other bio-regionally appropriate foods.
