Have you looked at your Google Page Speed recently? Google uses page speed as one of the criteria to determine how well your site ranks. You have a much higher chance of being on page 1 of google with a high page speed. I've been doing a lot of work with clients recently to get their speed from under 50 to the 80-90 range.
