Valentine is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 sailboat; she was well fitted out when we bought her in Annapolis, but we've done a lot to get her ready for extended cruising; upgrades include:

Torqeedo lives again.
I think the Torqeedo was recalcitrant because it was feeling neglected. I let it sit on full power for a while and it starting churning away. From now on I'll fire it up from time to time when it's not in service. Better living with electricity!

Two privateers on the way to mix it up at Pirates Cove. Belinda was armed to the teeth with Sai, pistol, and concealed dagger; I carried my trusty Jambiya, but we found no foe daring enough to challenge us with anything more deadly than Bushwackers heavily laced with rum.
We anchored out for two nights and enjoyed Eggs Sardou the first morning and eggs over crabcakes the next. Good winds made for a spirited sail on the way home to Pensacola.
