Waterfront Rescue Mission

If you've been to our Pensacola Mission over the last year and a half, chances are you've met Laura. Her friendly nature and welcoming presence have made her a familiar face here.
Laura came to Waterfront after falling behind on rent and running out of money. What she didn't expect was that her time here would become much more than a place to stay; it would become a season of growth and transformation.
She often compares her experience at Waterfront to Jonah and the whale. Like Jonah, she found herself in a difficult place she never expected to be. There was uncertainty at first, but over time, she began to see that God was using this season to teach her, strengthen her faith, and give her a new perspective. She became more active physically and spiritually, began attending church regularly, and found joy in praising God through song.
Today, we're excited to celebrate a major milestone in her journey. She recently received the keys to her very own home! π‘π
Her season of hardship has become a testimony of God's faithfulness, and she's so eager to share what Christ has done in her life. Join us in congratulating Laura and praying for her as she begins this exciting new chapter! π

Shoes are one of the items we always need and gladly accept on a regular basis. Something as simple as a good pair of shoes can provide comfort, dignity, and confidence, and help someone take another step forward on their journey.
Weβre so thankful for the employees of Navy Federal who recently collected shoes and socks on behalf of the Mission. πβ€οΈ
Your generosity helps us care for the men and women we serve each day in a practical and meaningful way! Thank you Navy Federal Credit Union.
