The global outage today was not the result of any type of, or security threat. Crowdstrike, a software company that helps with banking and other transactions, release a faulty update, causing many companies to lose access to their Microsoft Windows applications.

Because the conversation has trended to talk about cyber security, we wanted to share a blog post we wrote last month about this very topic. Whether you are an individual or small business owner, cyber threats are real and you should protect yourself.
