A conversation at CinemaCon led to one of the biggest projects in our company's history.

Back at CinemaCon, We had the chance to meet face-to-face with a contact from NBCUniversal and push forward a project that had been sitting in limbo for quite a while. It was a great reminder that even in today's digital world, nothing replaces building relationships in person.
Fast forward a few months, and that conversation helped lead to something really special.
Our team at Pops Corn®️ had the privilege of working alongside NBCUniversal and Illumination to create two first-of-their-kind custom Minions popcorn bags for movie theaters—a life-size concession bag and a retail-size bag. After months of planning, design, testing, and production, they're now arriving in theaters across the country just in time for the nationwide release of Minions & Monsters on July 1.
And then something amazing happened...
The life-size Minions bag actually made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Needless to say, seeing something our family business helped create on national television was a pretty surreal moment.
Looking back, it's amazing to think that this all started with a conversation at CinemaCon.
A huge thank you to the incredible teams at Universal and Illumination for trusting us with this project, and to everyone on the Pops Corn team who poured their creativity, time, and passion into bringing these bags to life.
As a family business, opportunities like this don't come around every day. We're incredibly grateful to be a part of helping create memorable movie experiences for families across the country.
